💂 3 General Orders of a Sentry

General Order No. 1 I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.
General Order No. 2 I will obey my special orders and perform all my duties in a military manner.
General Order No. 3 I will report violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of the relief.

🪖 Basic Combat Training (BCT)

10 weeks transformed from civilian to Soldier. Governed by Drill Sergeants.

Red Phase (Weeks 1–3) · "Patriot Phase"

Total immersion, room inspections, physical conditioning, Army heritage, and CBRN gas chamber qualification.

White Phase (Weeks 4–5) · "Gunfighter Phase"

M4 carbine marksmanship, zeroing, grouping, qualifying at 300m popup targets, hand grenades, and obstacle courses.

Blue Phase (Weeks 6–10) · "Warrior Phase"

Night tactical road marches (up to 16km), urban operations, Forge final capstone exercise, and graduation ceremony.

🏋️ Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)

6 age- and gender-performance scored events (Maximum score 600 pts, minimum 360 pts):

1. Maximum Deadlift (MDL) 3-rep maximum deadlift using hex bar (140 to 340 lbs).
2. Standing Power Throw (SPT) Backward overhead throw of a 10 lb medicine ball.
3. Hand-Release Push-Up (HRP) 2 minutes of arm-extended pushups with full deck release.
4. Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC) 5x50m shuttle: sprint, 90-lb sled drag, lateral, 2x40-lb kettlebells, sprint.
5. Plank (PLK) Static isometric core hold (up to 3:30 max).
6. Two-Mile Run (2MR) Outdoor aerobic endurance run (target 13:30 to 21:00 min).

SPORTS Stoppage Remediation:

🔥 The Crucible & Marine Boot Camp

13 weeks of the most demanding basic training in the military.

Phase 1: Receiving & Foundations

Yellow footprints, haircut, drill instructor pick-up, martial arts (MCMAP), pugil sticks, and water survival.

Phase 2: Firing Week & Grass Week

Marksmanship qualification at 200, 300, and 500 yards with Table 1 and Table 2 combat shooting.

Phase 3: The Crucible (54 Hours)

48 miles of marching under 45-70 lb packs, 4-6 hours of sleep total, combat obstacle courses, team problem solving, culminating in the Eagle, Globe and Anchor ceremony where recruits are addressed as "Marine" for the first time.

🛡️ Code of Conduct (U.S. Armed Forces)

Article II am an American, fighting in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
Article III will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender the members of my command while they still have the means to resist.
Article IIIIf I am captured I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
Article IVIf I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information nor take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades.
Article VWhen questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth.

⚠️ 4 Universal Rules of Firearm Safety

Rule 1Treat every weapon as if it were loaded. Never assume a firearm is empty.
Rule 2Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. Maintain muzzle awareness at all times.
Rule 3Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you have made the decision to fire.
Rule 4Keep the weapon on safe until you intend to fire, and be sure of your target and what lies beyond it.
